Location

This interesting golfing adventure takes you around the British Isles, visiting the full spectrum of classic golf design. Each course is a special highlight in itself. An absolute must for golfers who don't just appreciate the game, but also the aesthetics of a golf course. In order words: a cruise for connoisseurs.Sun 17.09.2023 Newhaven (Edinburgh), Scotland - Dalmahoy Country Club - East Course - additional course 1 This golf course is a challenge in typical English style. Be prepared to focus on precision as you play, as the rather narrow fairways make it all the more important that you keep your ball headed in the right direction. A round of golf here is certainly a special experience. The championship course also has plenty of water hazards in store, which find their way into play now and then.
Mon 18.09.2023 Invergordon, Scotland - Royal Dornoch Golf Club
There is evidence that golf was played here as early as 1616. The historic links course that now exists was founded in 1877. It is at its best in late spring and early summer, when the natural setting glows with the flowers of the gorse bushes and surrounds a large proportion of the holes with a wall of yellow. In typical links style, the holes lie directly along the North Sea coast, with the fairways running almost side by side between the gorse and the coast until the ninth hole and then back in the direction of the clubhouse.
Thu 21.09.2023 Dublin, Ireland - Carton House - O'Meara Course
Not far from Dublin, you'll find two 18-hole parkland adventures around an old English manor house. The O'Meara Course on this itinerary was designed by the golf pro Mark O'Meara more than 20 years ago and is rated as one of the ten best parkland courses in Ireland. The generously proportioned fairways run past several historic buildings, giving the course its special allure.
Fri 22.09.2023 Liverpool, England - West Lancashire Golf Club
Look forward to highly modulated, narrow fairways with impenetrable roughs and fast greens. This is a prime example of a typical northern English links course. As well as tricky fairways, you'll have to contend with the constantly changing coastal wind as you play, which makes careful course management essential. This is authentic English golfing.
Sun 24.09.2023 Falmouth, England - Falmouth Golf Club - additional course 2
A typical parkland course with straight, open fairways that look out across the Atlantic from the steep coast of Cornwall. The wide fairways have manageable lengths, with just the proximity to the sea bringing the wind factor into play. This means players should take a cautious and forward-looking approach.
