New Zealand is probably the furthest place from Europe where you can look forward to the opportunity for a round of golf.
To make the most of this, some outstanding courses have been carefully selected on North Island and South Island, as well as in the south of Australia – for quality golfing down under.
Tee-off at Mount Manganui (Tauranga), New Zealand at the Mt Maunganui Golf Club, Bonnie Doon Golf Club
From above, this 18-hole course makes an unusual picture as the playing areas are laid out in parallel in a neat square.
Despite the proximity to the next hole, the generous fairways offer plenty of space to achieve a good result.
Meanwhile, there is a constant supply of spellbinding views of the Pacific.
Your next tee time will be whilst docked in Wellington, New Zealand at the Royal Wellington Golf Club.
Next tee off is in Lyttelton, New Zealand at Clearwater Golf Club.
A course with high standards.
Great expanses of water run alongside a total of eleven of the 18 holes, which lead to the extremely fast plateau greens.
Most of the final playing areas are also guarded by well-placed bunkers.
Players who can send their ball straight are at an advantage on this course.
The tee boxes are raised, providing a clear view of play from the start.
Your last round on this 17-night cruise will Sydney, Australia at the Bonnie Doon Golf Club
Not far from the opera house and Bondi Beach, 18 parkland-style holes await.
You can look forward to broad fairways, which are only partially edged by bunkers.
There are also generously designed final landing areas, which are highly modulated in places.
The 14th hole, a par 5 at 505 m (552 yards) for gentlemen and 435 m (476 yards) for ladies will be one to remember as a particular challenge.

Location

In the northern Mediterranean, you'll find three golfing treasures that couldn't be more different. However, all three have one thing in common - their natural geographic features have informed the design, creating golf courses that are both fun and challenging.
Tue 04.07.2023 Porto Santo Stefano, Italy - Argentario Golf Club
Surrounded by Mediterranean maquis shrubland of evergreen sclerophyllous vegetation, exciting holes have been created here with highly modulated fairways. These features result in several slopes that need to be mastered. The course is also influenced by the wind blowing in from the sea in some weathers. Your efforts on the fairways will be rewarded with an array of head-turning views of nature and the Mediterranean Sea.
Fri 07.07.2023 Portovenere, Italy - Versilia Golf Resort
A dream golf course waiting to be conquered. Sweeping fairways with frequent changes in direction demand a tactical game. The course has an elaborate layout, neatly edged with bunkers in the relevant landing areas. And to cover any spots missed by the bunkers, an impressive 15 of the 18 fairways have a water hazard.
Mon 10.07.2023 Antibes, France - Opio Valbonne Golf Club
This course is nestled harmoniously in an unspoilt area of mixed forest. The holes created in this landscape offer reasonably wide fairways. You'll need course management to match. The final strokes are often on expansive greens with nothing to send your ball off track.
